DJM Technology Management, Inc. (TMI) was incorporated in 1995, began part-time consulting operations in 1996, and full-time production in 1997. TMI was founded by current President, Dan McGrath, after having spent the first 23 years of his professional life as the Vice President and COO of a Chicago area design and construction firm. Mr. McGrath is a licensed architect with experience in the development of data centers dating back to 1980.

In 1998, Jose Hernandez joined the firm and together over the next several years they developed projects across the United States, including more than 60 projects for the likes of Allegiance Telecom, Collocation Solutions, Focal Communications, Nextlink, Switch & Data, and Verio. Mr. Hernandez is also a licensed architect with 25 plus years of experience in data center development.

In 2000, Joe Roberts joined TMI as Vice President of Engineering, bringing more than 20 years of specialized design experience with respect to mission critical facilities. Prior to joining TMI, Mr. Roberts worked alongside Mr. McGrath from 1987 until 1997.

Finally, in 2002, Dan Navarra joined the firm, rounding out the TMI executive team as Vice President of Project Management. Mr. Navarra’s previous experience focused on managing the design and construction of data center build-outs during his 14 years of tenure at Comdisco, and as a project manager for a general contractor in Atlanta.

Together, the TMI Executive Team provides the best principal-lead project leadership in our industry, encompassing over 6 million square feet of mission critical facilities, and 95 plus years of specialized experience. Our business is only related to data center design and consulting, telecom design, and design services related to other computer rooms, disaster recovery facilities, and similar entities.
