Principal Involvement

A principal plays an active role in each project managed by TMI. The four principals each have over 20 years experience in the development of mission critical facilities, so you are assured that your project will be overseen by a tremendous amount of know-how. TMI does not believe in the 'bait and switch' approach of using principals during the negotiation phase, and then having a much less experienced individual running the project.

Single Source Responsibility and Accountability

TMI acts as the primary agent for design and construction, accepting both the responsibility and accountability to assure the project meets its goals. A single point of contact is assigned for the duration of the project. This enables TMI to better control the project scope, cost, quality of work, and schedule. It also reduces the involvement of the client’s staff, if desired.

TMI often negotiates up front a fixed fee covering the complete range of project management services provided on a typical project. This is due to the need to involve the TMI team at the programming phase of the project, and at the same time expedite the project schedule. With our fee defined, all other project services are bid by the TMI team on behalf of our clients. This approach ensures quick results at competitive prices.

Ability to Meet Expedited Deadlines

The Data Center and Telecommunications industries, along with specialized corporate facilities, seem to consistently require aggressive project deadlines. Our ability to meet these compact schedules has come from experience, which significantly reduces decision and evaluation time on critical issues.
