Why TMI? | Why TMI? |
ExpertiseThe entire TMI professional staff is comprised of senior level personnel averaging 15-20 years in the business. These individuals designed and constructed mission critical facilities long before the telecom boom of the mid 1990’s. Proven PerformanceThe TMI team has successfully managed the development of over six million square feet of mission critical space, ranging in size from 200 sq. ft. to 300,000 sq. ft. facilities. We assemble a highly qualified team of architects, engineers, and contractors on each project to complete the team. Any business partner we select has extensive previous experience with us and in the field of mission critical and technical office design and construction. National ExperienceTMI has completed projects throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. The TMI team can direct a single project or manage a nationwide roll out of multiple sites. In addition, TMI has consulted on projects throughout the world for clients from the States who want some continuity in their global facilities. Purchasing PowerNational agreements for support systems including command centers, technical furniture, UPS systems, electrical distribution gear, emergency power generation systems, DC power plants, and process air conditioners have been negotiated with multiple vendors. Centralized buying enables expedited delivery, coordination, installation, and record documentation of the support equipment while minimizing costs. Savings are passed on to TMI’s clients. ContinuityTMI offers continuity of design and construction standards, resulting in a quality, efficient product on a national scale. This does not mean, however, that we believe that data centers are a 'one size fits all' product. Each project is looked at on an individual basis with the client's needs and budgets considered. ObjectivityTMI acts as the client’s advocate while directing the project team throughout the design/build process. We make all of the major decisions for the design/build team that are in line with the client's goals and budgets. Our objectivity is maintained since we have no agreements to use specific vendors or subcontractors. We make decisions solely in the best interest of the client. This objective approach allows us to deliver the best product and the best prices within the shortest duration of time. No DowntimeIn new facilities, we can eliminate scheduled ‘downtime’ and minimize ‘continuous operations at risk windows’. This is done by incorporating certain features into the infrastructure that allow service personnel unimpeded access to provide preventative maintenance on all critical support equipment. In existing facilities, TMI has the expertise to minimize downtime and at risk periods in order to maintain, repair, and upgrade the critical support systems, thus eliminating the need for future maintenance windows. |
