Jose Hernandez

Mr. Hernandez has over 25 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of critical support facilities. He is a principal and Vice President, in addition to having key project management responsibilities. He has a wide range of experience in the physical planning and installation requirements of mainframe, mid-range, supercomputer, server, and network technologies.

Prior to TMI, Mr. Hernandez was President of JLH Design, directing and project managing computer room design and construction projects throughout the New York/NJ Tri-State metropolitan area. Projects were focused in the area of critical support facilities including communications facilities, corporate computer rooms, refinery command center operations, cosmetic manufacturing, and specialty laboratory facilities.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Hernandez held senior facility management and architectural/construction management positions with the following companies, GPU (General Public Utilities), DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation), and ADP (Automatic Data Processing). His overall experience includes the design and construction of over 2.5 million square feet of Critical Support Facilities and computer rooms for corporations and telecommunication firms across the United States, in addition to 1.5 million SQ. FT. of technical office, specialty laboratory and manufacturing space.

He is a licensed Architect in the State of New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Texas, and is NCARB Certified. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture, and an Associate in Arts from Union College.
