Texas Projects
TMI completed numerous projects in Texas in recent years, including the design and development of a new IT Center for a large healthcare organization in San Antonio (confidentiality agreements preclude our providing client information). The Greenfield site development is an approximately 47,000 square feet facility, with 15,000 square feet of data center space. Other adjacent and interior areas include data center support equipment, operations personnel and general support space, a Network Operations Center, a Security Operations Center and a Help Desk. It's scalable design will allow expansion to nearly three times its size in future phases.
Initially, TMI provided client advocacy services during pre-design to help determine the overall size of the IT Center, as well as the design criteria. We then served as the project architect, combining a team of architects and engineers to design the core and shell, as well as the tenant finishes. TMI was also the developer and the system testing and commissioning agent of the center.
In the Dallas, TX area from 2007 to present, TMI has completed the following projects:
- Design/build of a new 15,000 SF data center for Dataside (ViaWest)
- Design/build major retrofit of a 25,000 SF data center critical support systems for Capital One (ViaWest)
- Design retrofit of a 5,000 SF data center for Verio
- Design/build of a new 9,000 SF data center for ViaWest
- Design for a new 10,000 SF data center for ColoGuys
- Design of a 30,000 SF data center for ViaWest
We also completed projects in the past five years ranging from site selections to full design and construction management in Houston, Austin, and Amarillo, TX.
